Friday Night Kickoff Party Hosted by Southern Living

6:00 PM Visit Panama City Beach has partnered with Southern Living magazine in hosting Friday’s elegant garden party. It will include bites from "Top Chef” winner Kelsey Barnard Clark, custom cocktails, and live music. There are 250 VIP tickets available for this event. Cost is $175 per ticket and includes access to Saturday’s tasting as well.

The Grand Afternoon Tasting

1:00 PM Wander from booth to booth while tasting the best craft beers, wine and spirits from around the world, and sampling delectable culinary creations from the region’s leading chefs. Tickets to the Grand Afternoon Tasting are $75 per person.

“We are thrilled to announce the return of our one-of-kind event, UNwineD in partnership with Southern Living,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “With all new cuisine and beverages and acoustic entertainment, this year’s UNwineD festival is sure to be the must-visit, regional event of the summer season.”

The festival will be held at Aaron Bessant Park, 600 Pier Park Drive, Panama City Beach, FL. Tickets are limited and not on sale yet. 14th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction and South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival

This event raises an impressive amount helping fifteen children's charities in Northwest Florida, including the Boys and Girls Club, Children in Crisis, Children's Volunteer Health Network, Emerald Coast Autism Center and Food for Thought. Wine Spectator Magazine recently ranked this foundation third among the nation's top charity wine auctions.

The Craft Beer and Spirits Jam is usually held Friday Night at the Town Center and Grand Park. The hottest brewers and distillers from across the country come to town to share their specialties.  

The Reserve Tasting and Live Auction is held in an air-conditioned tent at Sandestin' Town Center’s North Lawn on Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm. It features distinctive wines from internationally acclaimed vintners, poured and paired with cuisine from the top local restaurants. The live auction is the place to be for incredible one-of-a-kind items up for bid.

The Grand Tasting is another highlight of the weekend, with more than 800 wines to sample from the world's most preeminent winemakers. Wine tastings, chef demonstrations, culinary tastings, seminars and live entertainment will be on hand both Saturday and Sunday.

The 30A Wine Festival returns to Alys Beach Wednesday, February 20 through Sunday, February 24, 2019 for its eighth year to benefit Children's Volunteer Health Network. This wine festival is a weekend full of fun, this year extending the weekend by adding a Wednesday event. It kicks off with a four-course wine dinner at the beautiful Caliza Restaurant on Wednesday night prepared by Executive Chef Drew Dzejak. Read about 2018's dinner here.

This year they have added an Oysters and Champagne party with live entertainment on Thursday night in Central Park, hosted by Garden and Gun Magazine ($150).

Friday there is a hands-on mixology seminar at Caliza ($125) followed by one of our favorite events - "Bourbon, Beer & Butts" - a fun night of bourbon, beer and barbecue tasting featuring many of America's best brewers, distillers and pit masters ($150). Read about 2018's event here.

Saturday offers a variety of entertaining seminars ($50) and a grand tasting ($225). It is a rare opportunity to taste more than 80 wines from around the world in one place!

Sunday's Rosé & Croquet ($150/team) is a great way to end the weekend. The croquet tournament is quite competitive and amusing. If you don't wish to compete, you can relax over an extensive brunch with plenty of rosés to try.

2nd Annual Harvest Wine and Food Festival

The powerhouse Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) is bringing the Harvest Wine & Food Festival back for its second year. The Foundation is currently ranked the third “Top Charity Wine Auction in the US” by Wine Spectator Magazine. Their events raise much-needed money for sixteen children’s charities in Northwest Florida. Since its founding in 2005, the organization has donated approximately $18 million to Northwest Florida charities, by hosting world-class wine and culinary events like this festival.

The weekend kicks off with three private wine dinner options on Thursday night, each featuring a celebrity winemaker. Jean-Noel Formeaux, proprietor of VGS Chateau Potelle, will headline dinner at Seagar’s (sold out). Elton Slone and Rachel Miller of Robert Craig Winery will headline dinner at Vin-tij (sold out). Luis Reyneri of Domaine Serene will headline dinner at Fish out of Water. Tickets are still available for $150.

Friday is the sunset Al Fresco Reserve Tasting from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Marina Park in WaterColor. This event offers festival-goers a selection of library wines that feature rare vintages not readily available. The wines are perfectly paired with hors-d'oeuvres and live music.

The Grand Tasting will be held Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in WaterColor’s beautiful Cerulean Park, and is an excellent opportunity to taste more than 250 world-class wines paired with the best in regional cuisine.

This festival takes place in Rosemary Beach on Northwest Florida's scenic Highway 30A every October. Foodies and winelovers flock to this event as the crafted wines are carefully paired with specialties prepared by the most popular local restauranteurs. Participating this year are Amavida Coffee & Tea, Cowgirl Kitchen, Edward's Fine Food & WineHavana Beach Bar & GrillLa Crema Tapas & Chocolate, Pescado Seafood GrillRestaurant Paradis, Southside Slice, and Summer Kitchen Café.  Tickets went on sale May 26th and the event is now sold out.

Our favorite place to stay when in town is the eleven room, boutique hotel, The Rosemary Beach Inn. Our favorite spot for an amazing cup of coffee is Amavida. We recommend you watch the sun set over the Gulf at Pescado Rooftop Bar.

11th Annual New York City Wine & Food Festival

Tickets are going fast for New York City's premier wine festival with more than 70 events from which to pick and choose! It's an excellent opportunity to taste some of the world's best wines and spirits while rubbing shoulders with hundreds of the best chefs on the planet. Plus, you will feel good knowing 100% of the net proceeds benefit the hunger-relief organizations No Kid Hungry and Food Bank for New York City. The Festival has raised more than $11 million to date. It is a highlight of He and She's year for sure!

All the choices can be overwhelming so we break it down day by day here for you:

The weekend extravaganza kicks off at 7 pm Thursday with several options for intimate dinners with many of Food Network's critically-acclaimed celebrity chefs. Thursday tickets range in price from $95 to $350. 

Friday during the day, we welcome the opportunity to learn about new trends and products in the food and beverage industry at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits Trade Tasting (Invitation-Only). Thought-provoking seminars about food trends, immigration and food service, and insights on the future of hospitality, and luxury travel are planned throughout the afternoon as well.

There are many evening options on Friday, including the Blue Moon Burger Bash hosted by Rachel Ray, and dinner with Emeril Lagasse, Timon Balloo and Philip Buccieri at Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill. He and She will be attending dinner with Alex Guarnaschelli and Zak Stern, part of the Bank of America Dinner Series.  Friday tickets range in price from $95 to $375.

Saturday begins with a new event - A Breakfast Pajama Party with Today's Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones, and several choices for brunch. New to the brunch options is the Drag Brunch hosted by Countess Luann de Lesseps with NYC's drag queen superstars (dress is smart casual - not drag!) Then it's on to the Grand Tasting and Culinary Demonstrations. Daytime event tickets range $50 to $235.  

New Orleans-based TV personalities, chefs, authors and restauranteurs John Besh and Aarón Sánchez entertained us in a 2015 Culinary Demonstration of Creole cuisine.

There are several dinner opportunities to get up-close-and-personal with renowned chefs on Saturday night, as well as the popular Food Network Rooftop Birthday Party. Evening event tickets range from $125 to $375.

On Sunday, in addition to another Grand Tasting, there are brunches, culinary demonstrations, and cooking classes from which to choose. We love the Rooftop Rosé at The Top of The Standard hosted by Katie Lee. The weekend concludes with the family-friendly Coca-Cola Backyard BBQ from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Sunday tickets range from $95 to $250.
