Perfect Daytime Date in the The Big Apple
So you had an awesome date last night, and you don’t want the magical feels to end? He and She have a recommendation for you!
Grab a cup of coffee and head over to the Upper East Side. Stroll around Central Park heading toward the E 90th Street entrance, breathe in the fresh morning air, and reminisce over last night’s fun.
Exit the park at E 90th and head across the street to Bluestone Lane (1085 5th Ave.) for some rosé and the best avocado toast in town at this cute chapel-turned-restaurant.
He and She’s Tip: You will likely need to put your name on a waiting list. Don’t veer too far or they will give your table away.
To work off your delicious brunch, walk down the block to the Guggenheim Museum (1071 5th Ave.), take the elevator to the top and wander on down as you take in their exhibits. The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building is a work of art in itself.
He and She’s Tip: Click here to see if there is a ticket discount available to you through your employer.
Keeping it classy, continue on down the road to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1000 Fifth Ave.) to check out the Heavenly Bodies exhibit. But hurry, this unique and very popular exhibit closes October 8th.
He and She’s tips: If the lines look long, don’t despair there is another entrance on the lower left below that very few know about. Check here to see if there is a ticket discount available to you through your employer.
Wow, it’s already 4:30? Need something more to impress your date? Take a five-minute walk down the street to the elegant Aldo Sohm Wine Bar (151 W 51st St.) to explore wines by the glass from their fabulous wine list and share some reasonably priced small plates as you make plans for another fantastic date! Cheers!
