Wine Lover’s Caipirinha

Wine Lover’s Caipirinha

We love wine and often experiment with incorporating wine into our signature cocktails. This is our light, refreshing version of Brazil’s national cocktail, the Caipirinha. Cachaça is the main ingredient, which is similar to a white rum but fresh sugar cane juice is used in the distilling process instead of molasses. While most dry white wines will do, we prefer a light bodied Sauvignon Blanc which adds notes of lime, green apple and white peach to our cocktail. The Wine Lover's Caipirinha is a great drink to make by the pitcher and take to the beach. If you plan to use the entire bottle of wine, you will get about 16 servings, so multiply all ingredients by 16 and adjust to taste. But watch out, they go down easily!!
