Wines 'Til Sold Out Class Action Lawsuit

If you purchased wines, like we did, from WTSO between March 15, 2010, and November 1, 2016, you might be entitled to receive credits towards a purchase of wine from a proposed class action settlement.

It turns out I'm not the only one wondering how they calculated their discounted prices!

The plaintiffs allege that because certain wines were not sold anywhere for the purported "Original Price," the discount advertised by WTSO was not real, and consumers were not buying wines at a discount after all. They further allege that WTSO offered wines that were available elsewhere but that the stated "Original Price" of some of these wines was even higher than the price set by the winery itself, resulting in a greater advertised discount.

The court has not decided who is right, but WTSO has agreed to provide up to $10.8 million in credits toward future purchases. Not as good as a check in the mail, but better than being duped. There is a hearing on March 19, 2018, to consider whether to approve the settlement.

The deadline to exclude yourself is February 16, 2018, and the deadline to complete a verification form, found on the website below is April 19, 2018.
